- Verify, check and post weekly sub-contractor applications.
- Ensure that VAT treatment is correctly applied to the application based on the project and trade provided.
- Liaise with subcontractors and surveyors with regard to payment queries.
- Issue subcontractor remittances and payments weekly.
- Perform monthly subcontractor statement reconciliations.
- Process monthly CIS returns to HMRC and issue Statements of Deductions to subcontractors.
- Ensure the rules surrounding CIS are adhered to throughout the company.
- Process monthly PAYE and CIS payment.
- Preparation of year-end financial accounts
- Analysis of Financial Statements
- Tax Planning for Individuals and Limited Companies
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Accounts Software expertise on XERO and QuickBooks.
- Ensure legal requirements compliance
- Producing regular financial statements and other reports for management
- Preparation & submission of quarterly VAT returns in the UK
- Knowledge of maintaining pension schemes
- Preparation & submission of PAYE returns
- Posting adjusting journals to ensure correct balances in the general ledger
Required Qualifications, Experience And Skills
- Minimum of 3 Years experience with UK Companies/ Clients in a similar role
- Must be ACCA Qualified.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
