Description:
The primary objective of this role is to cultivate strong relationships, establish needs, and uncover growth opportunities with key accounts, aligning with business targets. Additionally, the role involves proactively addressing challenges, adding value, and ensuring the delivery of expectations. On a daily basis, this position executes the country's key account strategy and plan.
Main Accountabilities:
Commercial Planning
- Conducts routine monitoring and generates standard reports on commercial data, including sales, profitability, co-funding, and sponsorship opportunities, using established corporate processes, techniques, and report templates.
Market & Customer Intelligence
- Maintains up-to-date product and sector knowledge.
- Provides account and country-specific insights for market intelligence activities, innovation, and business development/marketing plans and targets.
- Conducts routine research and analysis of customer/audience trends, including customer segmentation, demographic profiling, competitor tracking, and market share measurement.
- Collaborates with Marketing to conduct extensive market research and continually gather industry information.
Winning Business
- Enhances account extension, cross-selling, and retention efforts.
- Identifies and addresses performance issues, providing solutions.
- Monitors capacity and drives B2B2C sales to maximize capacity utilization.
- Implements Relationship Management practices, including mapping and delivering face-to-face touchpoints and conducting annual and quarterly reviews for major accounts.
- Expands and nurtures networks around existing clients.
Analysis & Reporting
- Regularly records, analyses, and reports operational activity levels and performance data using standardized procedures and templates, facilitating informed decision-making by senior management.
- Contributes data for the development and distribution of customer- and market-focused marketing materials.
Leadership & Management
- Prioritizes daily activities based on long-term plans.
- Establishes relationships and leverages influence to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders in business growth initiatives.
Safeguarding & Child Protection:
- Ensures strict adherence to safeguarding and child protection implementation standards in planning, implementation, and monitoring of exams, escalating child protection issues to the Head of Safeguarding Pakistan.
- Ensures consistent and sustained adherence to safe recruitment processes for venue staff and third parties.
- Upholds the child protection code of conduct when interacting with children and monitoring activities/projects, escalating safeguarding concerns to the National Safeguarding Manager, Pakistan.
- Maintains behaviour in line with safeguarding code of conduct.
Role-Specific Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum/Essential
- University Degree in any subject or relevant qualification.
- Proven experience in managing relationships with account clients.
- Proven experience in building relationships, identifying needs, and uncovering opportunities with key accounts to meet business-related targets.
- Designing and implementing business development plans.
- Experience in a compliant and regulated environment.
- Contract management.
- Market research and sector horizon scanning.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Desirable
- Master's degree in any subject or relevant qualification.
- 3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Familiarity with school exams (CIE/Edexcel).
- Understanding of UK exam boards.
