Account Officer

 

Description:

The Accounts Officer will support financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. Success in this role means timely processing of financial transactions, precise reporting, and compliance with internal and external financial standards.

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile financial records, including bank statements and transactions.
  • Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Monitor cash flow to maintain liquidity.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

  • Qualifications:
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP), strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in an accounting or finance role. Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting.
  • Other: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach.
