Account Officer

 

Description:

We are looking for an "Accounts Officer" to manage all financial day-to-day activities, budgeting, and all bank-related matters. Also, the candidate should have good knowledge and experience in international trade, Incoterms, and international financial transactions.

Responsibilities

· Manage all accounting transactions.

· Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

· Ensure timely bank payments.

· Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.

· Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.

· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

· Compute the currency exchange rates.

· Manage payroll activities and release salaries.

· Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors, and vendors.

· Comply with financial policies and regulations.

· Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.

· Helping the procurement department in finalizing and preparation of the Quotation.

 

Requirements and skills

· 02+ Years of Work experience as an Accountant.

· Must have Banking experience and also know LCs and Bank Guarantees.

· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

· Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks.

· Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

· Experience with general ledger functions.

· Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

· BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
