Job Description: We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Medical Billers to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of medical billing procedures, insurance claim processing, and knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate billing and payment processing for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
Review patient information and medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of claims.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization when necessary.
Handle patient inquiries related to billing issues and payments.
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Post payments and adjust patient accounts as needed.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare billing and coding regulations.
Generate billing reports for management review.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any field required.

1-2 years of experience in medical billing,or insurance verification.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and insurance billing procedures.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Practice Management Software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.
