Description:
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s accounts, finance, and taxation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing import/export documentation. This role requires a dynamic individual with a solid accounting and financial background, capable of driving efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee and ensure timely compliance with tax regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
- Handle import and export documentation, including LC preparation, shipping documents, and coordination with banks and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for business decision-making.
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements
- Education: ACCA, CA (Part Qualified/Qualified), or equivalent.
- Experience: 5-6 years of experience in managing accounts, taxation, and financial matters.
- Strong knowledge of local taxation laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in handling import/export documentation and related compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Office.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
