Account Manager

Description:

As a Manager Accounts with a CA Inter qualification, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. You will ensure that the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

· Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and external stakeholders.

Cash Management:

· Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational requirements and financial obligations.

· Monitor banking activities and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.

Team Leadership and Development:

· Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

· Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

· CA Inter or ACCA Qualified is required; additional qualifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.

· Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.

· Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial management software.

Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management.

· Experience in construction industry is a plus.
