Academic Head

Description:

As the Academic Head, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic direction of The English Academy. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our curriculum, from development and implementation to assessment and evaluation. You will also provide leadership and support to our team of instructors, ensuring they have the resources and training they need to deliver exceptional instruction.

Responsibilities:

-Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the English language curriculum.

-Oversee the placement testing process and ensure students are enrolled in appropriate courses.

-Manage and mentor a team of English language instructors.

-Conduct regular observations and evaluations of instructor performance.

Identify and implement innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.

-Oversee the development and delivery of professional development programs for instructors.

-Contribute to the marketing and promotion of The English Academy's programs.

-Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and research in English language teaching.

Qualifications:

-Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.

-Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults.

-Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.

-Strong leadership and management skills.

-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
